Description: In multi-user and service-based workflows, schema and edit locks are often difficult to diagnose. Currently, when operations fail due to locks, users must rely on trial-and-error or external tools to determine the source. Adding a built-in Lock Viewer in ArcGIS Pro that shows which datasets are locked, along with the locking source (service, user, or process), would significantly improve troubleshooting and reduce downtime in enterprise environments. Benefits: Faster resolution of schema and edit lock issues Improved multi-user and service-based workflows Reduced need for database-level investigation outside Pro This enhancement would provide greater transparency into data state while aligning with existing Pro diagnostics and administration capabilities.

Hi @KenHartling,

Thanks for pointing this out and for the link. You’re right. The Manage Geodatabase Locks functionality already addresses much of what I was describing, and I should have reviewed that more closely before submitting the idea. I appreciate the clarification and will take this as a good reminder to dig deeper into existing tools before proposing enhancements.
