Parcel Fabric: Change default unit when bringing into ArcPro

Whenever a parcel fabric is brought into ArcGIS Pro (from FGDB or Portal), the elevation units always default to meters.    My Fabric is in State Plane U.S. Feet.    Because the elevation units don't default to the layer source vertical units, editing can't be completed unless the elevation units are changed on all parts of all parcel types.  This is a significant time drain, especially when creating a new map or a setting up a new map for editors.

Is there a way to change the default behavior to match the layer vertical units, instead of always going to meters?

I can confirm that the parcel fabric layers Elevation Units are set to 'meters' regardless of the source data.

We will work to change the default to the 'Data Source vertical unit' instead.

Thanks for bringing this into our attention.
