Hello!

I'm setting up test environments for a future migration to parcel fabric. I'm having trouble understanding how to set up branch versioning, with the goal to have each technician edit their own branch version before rec/posting up to the active/DEFAULT version.

I haven't figured out how to switch versions (or even get into the Version Management ribbon tab) after pulling the Parcel Fabric feature service into a Pro project.

Does each user version need to have its own feature service shared over the enterprise portal?

Thank you for any clarity you can cast on this versioning setup process.

EP 10.8.1, Pro 2.6.x, fabric version 3

Hi

Have a look at the Access versioning commands section in this help topic. Once you have the Versioning ribbon available, you will be able to create new versions and switch back and forth between versions.

Hope this helps

Yes, this is perfect! I hadn't found the 'set up editing environment' section, but it is pure gold 🙂

Thank you!
