When using construct from parent or parcel remainder for the parcel editor it would be beneficial to have the parent attributes (Name, etc.) carry over to the child. In the case of a multiple parent construction using construct from parent perhaps a dialog allowing the user to pick which parent to transfer the attributes from would work also. This saves duplication of effort in entering attribute values.

This is something I have been wanting to post for awhile now. When doing a parcel remainder especially, it would save time to have a dropdown option to transfer the PIN from a parent to the child, or maybe even a list of options populated from PINs within the extent of the data frame. The reality is 90% of the time the piece bieng split out will get a new number, but the remainder will retain an old PIN. Without this option it is too easy to overlook a remainder (or multiple remainders) that have been set to 000.000.000.000. This is a no brainer.
