I would like to use Raster Analysis tools in Map Viewer Classic, such as Remap https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/analyze/remap-values.htm

I published a (single-layer) Map from Pro to create a Tile Layer (Hosted), but when I add this layer to my AGOL map it is not offered as an input to the Remap tool.

What do I need to do to make my raster layer available for analysis in AGOL? (I am creating a student exercise for AGOL, hence I do not want to Reclassify my raster on desktop!) It is quite important that the raster retains its symbology (a 9-value land cover classification).

I've since found that this workflow: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/manage-data/publish-imagery-layers.htm

creates a Tiled Image Layer (not a Tile Layer) and that is available. From the Share > Web Layer process I used initially,  I cannot publish a Tiled Image Layer as this needs an enterprise server and I only have access to AGOL itself. So for AGOL purposes I think my issue is solved, although I do think this could be a lot clearer in the documentation.
