Scenario: Assume a SQL Server 2019, Geodatabase V10.9.1 was implemented 1.5 years ago. The geodatabase performance has degraded over those 1.5 years to a point where editing is painfully slow. Also, this geodatabase has never had any GDB maintenance steps performed on it (e.g. the Analyze Dataset GP Tool has never been run to update statistics on it).
Question: Will attempting to upgrade the enterprise SDE software from V10.9.1 to V11.x be impacted because the geodatabase statistics are in such poor shape? Or will the software upgrade not care (be impacted by) about the database statistics?
