Greetings!
I'm having some issues with some symbology when uploading to our online portal.
I've created a map and some custom symbology in ArcGIS Pro. After uploading it to ArcGIS Online, sometimes the symbology gets messed up.

Here's what the map looks like in Pro:

And here's what it looks like in Online:

I've saved each of the custom symbols as a style and that seems to help (at least some of the time), but it's not fool poof.

Has anyone else come across this?

Thank you for your time!

Can you try unchecking it. The Map Viewer and Experience Builder support the output of the advanced symbols used when it is unchecked.

Couple questions:

Are you sharing a web map from Pro or just a layer?

Are you using Map Viewer or Map Viewer Classic?

I realize I forgot to mention the intent.
I'm sharing the map from Pro to Online to use it in an Experience Builder app.

The screenshot with the wonky symbology is from the Map Viewer.  The map widget in the Experience Builder app displays in the same stretched manner .

The whole map, not just a layer.

Using Map Viewer and Experience builder -> In Pro are you also sharing with this option unchecked.

Hey Russell,
Thanks for the suggestion - I do have that box already checked on the "Share As Web Map" tab.

That seems to have worked.

Thank you for your help!

no sweat, if you can share the symbol causing the issue I can look into what might be causing the dimension changing issue.
