Special characters in .shp attribute table

Dear All,

  I would like to import zipped shapefile to my ArcGIS Online map. The original shapefile field names and field values contain special characters (used in many european languages) and they do NOT display correctly in the pop-up window. I think, the issue is the ArcGIS Online default encoding format. Does anybody have same issue? Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

I tried removing the special characters from the table but it didn't work. Can anyone help ? 😞
