Solutions map lost symbology and can't restore to default

We have been using the Sign Management Solution since about June 2024, no issues so far. Today I noticed that all of the default symbology has been changed to just blank white rectangles. I have gone into the Styles area of the sign layer and there is no way for me to restore the symbology of all 200+ sign types back to the symbology the solution launched with. They are all matched to the MUTCD codes and even when I set the style to unique symbols by the MUTCD attribute all I get is the option to assign manually every single icon. That would take forever and I'm not entirely sure that I'd get it 100% correct to the way it was in the beginning. I did notice that the same service in my ArcPro does still show the correct symbology. Is there a way for me to bring back the original symbology? I'm trying to avoid having to launch a second solution and merge old data with all the pictures and such. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be a corrupt map? Have you tried adding the layer to a new map?

I just brought it into a new map and the blank symbology is still there. What's funny is that the blank icon it's showing is also the same icon used to represent "All other signs". It's as if the default is still from the ESRI web style, but it's not bringing any other symbols in. I also can't find the exact web style from ESRI to bring into my own org, I can only find versions hosted by other members. I really have no way of knowing if they're identical style sets to even try going at it manually.

If it's still showing in Pro you could save it as a style from there. Or overwrite your layer with the symbology you do need. However in your first screenshot single symbology is chosen so that makes sense why you only see 1 shape.

When I select the unique values option after selecting the MUTCD attribute, I just get the generic different color circles. I'm going to try and figure out how to share the symbology from PRO. I shared it as a web style, but is it possible to have the style automatically coordinate with which item it should be assigned? All I'm seeing is the ability to manually assign each and every sign symbol.

Yes, that is expected behavior. I would overwrite the layer and make sure the layer ID # is the same to reserve configurations set up on the layer. You could look into using AGOL Assistant.

I haven't heard of the AGOL Assistant before. I'll take a look at it. In the end even if I have to manually reassign the icons, that's fine, I just can't find those ESRI icons as options within my AGOL system. If I could find the web style they used I could at least go ahead and reassign symbology for all the stuff I know we'll use in the field.

I haven't been able to find solutions symbology in agol in the past that is why you have to upload them yourself or like I did, you can reach out to the solutions team and they will give you the symbology. Again, overwriting the layer with the symbology you want is a lot quicker than manually changing every symbol or even republishing the map.
