I've been trying to publish the Tree feature class from the Local Government Information Model as a feature service on ArcGIS Online with an organization account and keep getting an error that I think is tied to the Default Z-Value.  I've looked at the help documentation on the topic (Editing features with z-values in feature services) and it mentions configuring the settings on ArcServer, not ArcGIS Online, once the service is published.

Is there another way to go about setting a Default Z-Value on a feature service that doesn't involve ArcServer?  If not on the feature service, on the feature class before publication?

This issue turned out to be a network problem with my computer, not an issue involving Z-values.  However, if you need to change a default Z-value or enable/disable the functionality you can use Feature Class to Feature Class and use the Environment settings in the GP tool.
