Hello,

First, congratulations for this web template, will be very useful in the company where I work.
I have a suggestion about the template and a couple of questions I hope you can help me; I have attached two images where I mark each question with a letter.
First, we had used characters like accents or umlauts and there is a failure and do not appear correctly on "Index.html" (A)
The last question is where we can change the labels of some elements, because we want to do our template in Spanish:
- The bar text "Search Maps" (B)
- The bar text "Locate Maps" and "Switch Basemap" (C)
- The text "Layers", "Legend" and buttons "Legend and" About "(D)

Thank you very much for the help,

Hi Jennifer,

Great feedback. I'll look into why those characters are not appearing correctly.

"Search Maps" is in /scripts/home/local.js
"Locate an address" is in map.html
"Switch Basemap" is apart of the basemap dijit. http://help.arcgis.com/en/webapi/javascript/arcgis/help/jsapi_start.htm#jsapi/basemapgallery.htm You should be able to set the locale and have it automatically changed. http://help.arcgis.com/en/webapi/javascript/arcgis/help/jshelp_start.htm#jshelp/localization.htm
"Layers", "Legend" and buttons "Legend and" About " are in map.html

I think we could definitely improve this template for i18n support. We might be able to do that in an update and put all the UI elements into a config file.

Thanks!

If we are talking about the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch apps, I would like to mention FriendCaller VoIP here. I use it daily on my iPhone 4S and I m pretty much pleased. You might try as well. http://fc.vc/infographic-fc This is much comprehensive and packed in one location.

Hello,
I am writing again to ask a new question arises about me web template:
Is there any way to implement this type of map to my maps public gallery?

The objective would be for him to be something like in the photo montage that attachment.

Hi Jennifer,

Something like that should be possible. If the arcgis.com item is a web application that is not a web map, I would have it open in modified copy of the map.html file which takes the web application's URL and puts it into an iframe inside the map.html file. Some HTML/Javascript will be involved to do this. It seems like you're trying to put a web application URL inside of the simple viewer template and the best way I can think of to do that would be to use an iframe.

Hope that helps. Thanks

Greetings;
I have created two address locators, one for address points and one for streets; I have combined them into a composite locator and published as a service in ArcGIS server. The spatial reference of participating locators are in state plane and the composite address locator in GCS_WGS_1984. Then in PMG template, I changed ??pmgConfig.locatorURL? variable in ??settings.optional.js? to point to my published locator service.

Now, when I access my PMG maps, and start typing in few characters in search box, I can see the autocomplete feature showing the related entries as I type. When I click on the search result to go to the location, the map pans to the coast of Africa and when I zoom out, I do see a point marked in the correct place. I don??t know why the location is correctly marked but the map pans to a wrong place. I appreciate your help in this matter.

FYI, I used ??42105 churchpoint rd, gonzales? as my search criteria. You can see my locator returns X,Y very similar to ESRI??s built in locator. The spatial reference of both of the following locators are 4326.
My Locator:

Locator from PMG:

I am having the same thing happen.  I've tried multiple locator services and always end up with the marker drawn in the correct location, but the map has changed the extent.  Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
