Photo attachments not displaying in pop-ups

Hi,

I have a data set on AGOL which I enabled attachments for and added image attachments to features in ArcGIS Pro. When I add the attachments to the pop-up on an AGOL web map, they do not display properly (screenshot below). You can click on it and download the photo, but I want the image to display on the pop-up. I experienced this with another data set a few months ago and I re-sized the images then it worked. I have resized these images though and still no luck. Does anyone know a fix for this? I also have attachments set to 'display as gallery' but this doesn't make any difference.

Thanks!

Are you using map viewer or map viewer classic? In new map viewer my attachments come up fine but show as a clickable link in classic.

Hi Laura, thanks for your response! Yes I'm using the new map viewer

I find it depends on the extension. A PNG seems to have no problem, but JPGs are hit or miss. Maybe it is looking specifically for ".jpg", and the capitals are throwing it off?

No luck with that unfortunately. I have tried different extensions, also different dpi's to match the photos that worked with the last map I mentioned where the pop-ups worked. I also added one of the photos from that map to see if at least those would work and still having the same issue on this map! So not sure what to try next.. seems to be a bigger issue perhaps

I am seeing the same thing with my jpg attachments.  No issues before the last AGOL update, now, it is hit or miss if the attachment will show the actual image or the icon like you show.

For the most part, it appears as if the 'older' attachments have more issues that attachments added more recently.
