Multiple features showing up in attribute pop-up?

I have a mapservice setup on my ArcGIS Online map and having problems setting up the pop-up correctly.  Currently when a line feature is clicked on the attribute pop-up displays all of the features (example 1 of 50 with the ability to scroll through attribute pages for each feature within the feature class).  What I really want is to only have the attributes shown for the feature that is clicked on, not ALL of the features.  Has anyone else experienced this or know how to resolve the issue?

Thanks in advance for you help!

Did you go to "configure pop-up" then you have a choice of "A description from one field" or "A custom attribute display" ?

Yes, I went to "configure pop-up" and chose to use all attributes, not custom.  It doesn't seem to be so much a problem with how the attributes are displayed (custom, one field, all of the fields...etc), but more about only wanting to have 1 feature's attributes displayed in the pop-up, not all 48 features.  I'm going to try to attach a screen shot of the attribute table what it's showing.  Essentially it indicates that the current attribute listing in the pop-up is "1 of 48" and that there are 47 other pages within the pop-up to scroll through 1 by 1.

There is no ability to control the search tolerance used when displaying the popup. If your features are dense, then you'll likely get multiple matches.

For some layers, popups are enabled by default. You could also turn off popups for layers you don't want them for.

I am having the opposite problem...I would like multiple features to show in the pop-up window.  It was working as desired last week (ex: points at the same location would yield a pop-up with several "pages"...one for each point), but today I only get one feature to show up in the pop-up.
I have not changed anything with the map services or the arcgis explorer online map.  any reason this functionality would change?
background info:
i am using a feature service published through arcgis server 10.0
point feature w/ approx 12k records

Did you used to have this service in the map?

It seems that explorer online will only display one popup when configured against a feature service, like you have done. With map services, like the URL above, you can get multiple. I don't know why it works that way, but it seems to.

Mike,
i have only used the feature service in that map.  the purpose of the map is for editing, so i had no reason to put the map service in it.

As far as I know, nothing has changed in Explorer Online. With feature services, Explorer Online can only display one popup. I'm not sure how you saw multiple. Now, ArcGIS.com map viewer will display multiple...
