Map Viewer rearranging popup fields when adding a new field to the popup.

This is incredibly frustrating. 

I am working with a web map in the new Map Viewer. I added a new field to the layer earlier and now I need to go into the Pop-ups settings for the layer to "turn on" that field to display in the popup. As soon as I do that, all my fields get rearranged automatically instead of remaining the way they were.

Can anyone explain why this is happening and if there is a way to prevent this. Some of my layers have a ton of fields and I do not have the time to go through and reset all the fields in the correct order just to display one additional field.

The Map Viewer team spotted this issue and has a solution that will come through in the fall 2022 release of ArcGIS Online. We're sorry that you've run into this bug, and that it has been such an inconvenience. We really appreciate you posting about it.
