Map Viewer Classic Filter by Field Not Available

Within Map Viewer Classic I am not able to filter by field. That option is grayed out. I do have the options for Value and Unique. Has there been a change in the new map viewer that dose not support filter by field?

To enable Field option in Filter, the layer should have two or more fields of same datatype.

e.g. Field option is disabled, since the layer has only one Field (District Name) of TEXT Datatype.

But the layer has multiple fields of LONG Datatype.

Thank you for your reply. I will double check about the field types. I am trying this in a joined layer. The two fields I am trying to compared are of the same data type.
