Map shared publicly so visible without credentials but certain layers only visible if member of group?

Is it possible to make a public map with some layers public and others shared only with an organisational group?  If you viewed when logged out then only the public layers appeared. If they are logged in then all layers would appear.  Is this possible?

It would be better than having to make 2 separate versions of the map. More layers become visible if logged in (and a member of the group the layers are shared with).

It should work, but they will be asked to login first.
