Hello!

I use Collector to collect data (with picture attachments) in AGOL, which I then download as a FGDB and perform edits, and then re-upload/update the FGDB onto AGOL to continue to allow for data collection.

I use FGDB in order to keep the attachments linked to the features... this doesn't seem to work when simply publishing an .mxd.

I have the symbology for each feature stored as a Representation. Of course when publishing an .mxd onto AGOL, the symbology more or less stays the same. However, when I add the FGDB to AGOL the features do not maintain their symbology.

Is their anyway to maintain the symbology of a feature when adding a FGDB? It's the only way (that I know of) I can keep the attachments linked to the features, but I do not want to have to redo the symbology every time I update the data in AGOL (plus, the available symbology in AGOL is lame).

I have an Advanced license, btw.

Have you considered using the append tool‌ as referenced here?
