Issues with AppBuilder Bookmark config

I'm trying to configure the Bookmark widget in AppBuilder but the screen won't load completely. I can change the "name" of the widget to "Bookmarks" but can't change anything else. I'm able to click "OK" or "Cancel" to exit the config window.

When deployed in the app, the widget isn't functioning properly -- the user can't "Add bookmark" and the bookmarks from the web map (clearly checked "on") don't appear.

I haven't had any problems with this in the past but perhaps I'm forgetting something. Thanks for your help!

This should be fixed. The fix was added to ArcGIS Online in November 2022 and should appear in Enterprise 11.1 or later.

we just had the same issue as mentioned above and it got solved by going through the steps mentioned. Using Enterprise 10.9.1

Late to the party but we are still on ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1. The issue is resolved as mentioned above  by @BryndaHatch by saving in Map Viewer Classic. 

I was also able to resolve the issue by simply removing the thumbnails in your (New) Map Viewer and saving. No need to open map in Classic and save.
