Is Symbol size gone from the Style Categories when symbolizing by Type (unique values) in new Map Viewer?

I'm using the new ArcGIS Online Map viewer to create a series of web maps. The point data in the maps is symbolized by Type (unique values) on a field from the hosted feature layer. Under the Style options, I notice it is no longer possible to change the symbol size for each unique point symbol (screenshot 1).

It seems like it's missing. This was possible in Map Viewer (Classic) (screenshot 2).

I'm wondering if this is user error, or if this is a functionality limitation.

Hi Matt, If you have "Adjust size automatically" checked for the overall symbol style, you will not see the symbol size option for the individual unique values feautures. If you uncheck that box, the size will become available. We realize it's a bit hidden right now and are working to improve this.

Ahh, I was wondering what "Adjust size automatically" meant. So I was able to turn that off and then individually change the point sizes. Thanks.

The solution didn't work for me.  Matt, did you get any other feedback?

Hi Ana,

I didn't, as the solution worked for me. Once you select the Field and go to Style Options, you have to make sure to first click the pencil button next to the color ramp under Symbol style.

You then have to expand Symbol at the top of the next window to "unhide" it.

You should be then able to go back to Symbol styles and change the size of each.

Thank you.  Wow. Unhide was the magic word.

I can't seem to find the Adjust Automatically option at all for any of our rest services we host. But I can see it  for esri hosted services. Maybe this has something to do with a display option in the .aprx for the layer before it was published to the rest server?

Hi, Would you be able to share a screenshot or gif of what you are seeing? We took a look at a few rest services and see the option for them.

This is what I see on our service. It is a map service, not feature. Would that matter? I can change symbology, but just don't have the adjust option.

On the layer with the adjust option available, that was published to AGO for hosting there.

I've tried it with other examples of both types as well.

Thanks, ah yes it is probably the map service that is causing the issue. If published as a feature service it should work.
