Information in Description Box of Story map keeps getting deleted. This has happened more than once. It reverts back to the information that was there

My team is currently working on a story map. Every time I update the information in the summary and description box, it gets deleted somehow. It reverts back to the original text that was there. No one is making edits or anything. Thanks.

When you publish, there is a pane with a thumbnail image for the story and the title and description below it.

Click the Edit button there and update it, finish the publishing process.

It seems like the copy that gets cached here is not updated by edits to the item details.

Thank you for the reply. After clicking publish, I clicked on the bottom of the story map thumbnail image where it says edit and unchecked the Update ArcGIS Item details when publishing box, and it worked! Thank you for your help!
