Image analysis tools - whose credits are used the data provider or the user?

Hi There,

I am looking to create some imagery layers in arcgis online.  In all probability these will be published as Tiled Imagery layers with images hosted in ArcGIS online.  My query is if I make these available and a user consumes the service and runs raster analysis tools on it either in arcpro or online map viewer, whose credits are used; my organizations or the users?

I understand that my orgnaization will pay credits for the data to be stored in arcgis online but who will pay credits to analyze the data? I'm assuming it is the user as they are running the tools but I just want to confirm this.

Thanks and regards,

Dee

Hi @DeirdreSmyth,

You are correct that when performing analysis, it is the user who performs the analysis who is charged credits, not whoever hosts the data.
As a reminder, users will need to have the Professional or Professional Plus user type and the Imagery Analysis privilege in order to run raster analysis tools and raster functions in ArcGIS Online.

Cheers,
