I am currently trying to create a weekly report on credit usage and storage consumption across different projects in ArcGIS Online. I have several folders (projects) in my account, each containing multiple items that occupy storage and thus consume credits. However, the credit consumption data per item is only available in a table format (in MB), without any direct indication of the folder (project) to which the items belong.
My goal is to:
- Generate a weekly report that shows credit usage and storage consumption per project (folder), but the table data I have does not include project/folder info.
- Get views per day of the week, views per week, views per user, and views per project to understand the scope of usage and determine if any items or projects need to be optimized to save credits.
- I can only work within ArcGIS Online—I do not have access to ArcGIS Pro or any other desktop tools.
Additionally, I would like to know how to convert the file size (MB) into credit usage. The credit usage is not directly mentioned for each file in the table, and I am unsure how to calculate the cost of credits based on the size of my items. Any guidance on how to convert this file size into a credit cost or any tools that can help me calculate this would be greatly appreciated.

- How can I group credit usage and storage consumption data by project in ArcGIS Online?
- Is there a way to extract and link item activity (such as views) with specific projects/folders to generate a report that includes daily, weekly, and user-specific views?
- Are there any built-in tools or best practices for generating these types of reports exclusively in ArcGIS Online?
- How can I convert the size of the file (MB) into the credit cost associated with it?
I would appreciate any advice, tips, or solutions that could help me automate this process and get a clear view of my credit consumption and storage usage.
