How to change Hint Text for all searches?

Hi!

This is for a web scene I've made, but I imagine my question would apply also to a normal map.

I have a search bar in my web scene set up to search by specific layers. However, the "Hint Text" does not update to show my preferred text unless I limit the search to one layer. It still says the standard "Find address or place".  I have sadly accepted that I cannot disable the ArcGIS World Geocoding Service from my map, but is there at least a way to change the default Hint Text when searching all available sources?

Note: I know I can disable the geocoding service if I delete it from my organization. That is not an option as we use it in other maps. I also know there are apps that let you set your own search function, but with a web scene, those searches end up sending the viewer to outer space. I have to use the default search bar in the scene.

We've hit the same problem.  I'm amazed that this isn't a more common issue.  It seems like an oversight that you can't change the 'hint text' for all searches as we often configure apps to automatically search all layers and not allow uses to select specific layers so they never see the custom 'hint text'.

There is an idea in the system already for this, please give it Kudos if this problem also affects you:
