Hi,
I have found an interesting service somewhere on arcgis.com, eg some service with data&maps content. For my convenience I want to add this service to my content or to one of my own groups, so I can find it fast within my own profile and don't have to repeat the search each time I want to use this service....
It seems I must check the REST URL of this service and add it manually (with all the description, thumbnail,....) to 'my content'.
Making a webmap is not really helpfull, because there is always (?) a basemap and the map is lacking the description of the single service content.
Do I miss something?

Regards
Joerg

There isn't a way to store items you don't own in "My Content", nor add them to your groups. The only way I can think of now is to store it as a bookmark or favorite in your browser, since each item has a unique URL.

We have considered adding user "favorites" to ArcGIS.com, which would address what you're trying to do. But we currently don't have any short term plans to implement this feature.

Thanks,

Mike
