How do I change the legend title? It currently contains the layer name and the calculated statistic.

I would like to change both labels. In fact, I only need one of them. I want to display "Percentage of teachers moving to another district" instead of "Maximum bin_leavedist".

Hey Jeff,

Is this a feature layer or a tile layer? If it's a tile layer, was it built from a tile  package or were the tiles generated in ArcGIS Online?

It is a feature layer. It looks like this cannot be fixed without access to the desktop version. We tried a lengthy workaround that involved creating new fields (the only way that we could edit aliases), but ultimately it did not work since ArcGIS adds the statistic name (like "Maximum") to the legend.

Do you not have access to the desktop version? Or can you contact someone who does have access to the desktop version?

Another thing to try is: ArcGIS Online Assistant
