help for Non-GIS savvy map user?

As we explore ArcGIS Online to push a few very basic maps out to our public, I've been asked by every non-GIS reviewer (i.e. our public information officer) where the help info can be found. Of course I see there is a help dropdown in the page, but that leads me to help info that seems more geared towards someone making a new map or editing a map (a lot of info to sort through). Is there a simple help section for the non-technical end user somewhere? I'd like to be able to point my 70 year old mother at the map and have her be able to figure out how to navigate without assistance. For example:
- without exploring on my own, how would I know to Shift-drag a box to zoom in?
- How do I know to click the 'show map legend' button to see what the symbols mean?
- How do I know the 'show contents of map' button will let me see and turn on/off layers?
- how do I know clicking on a feature triggers an identify function?

As a long time GISer, I'm able to figure this out by clicking buttons. However, a lot of our constituents are older and often afraid to just click around and explore. Seems like it would be ideal to have some type of quick reference page available to get people started. Apologies if I'm just missing it and it's already there...
Thanks, Gavin

Thanks Mike
The 1st link is pretty much what I was looking for, but the 2nd link does not work for me?

As for the info in the 1st link, that does the trick, but accessing that section of help from the 'help' dropdown in the viewer requires 4-5 mouse-clicks even when I know where I'm going. If I click on 'About using Web Maps' in the overview section where you are directed from the help button, the 1st thing I see is about sharing web maps. The general user I am thinking about wouldn't even understand what sharing web maps means.

Again referring back to the "my mom as a user" example, navigating that help menu just to learn the basics of using the map is a bit much and might be a deterrent. It could be useful if there were a direct link from the viewer to that page or similar called "how to use this map". Just a thought as I know some people give up easily and are better off spoon-fed. All that said, we're finding ArcGIS Online to be a great tool. Thanks for your time to respond.
cheers, Gavin
