Transfer Online Group Ownership?

I created an ArcGIS.com group about a year ago with my personal account, and have about 20 arcgis.com user's that have joined this group. Is there a way to transfer ownership of this group from my personal account to my newly created Organization account? Or will I have to delete the current group, re-create it under the new account, then invite/re-join those 20 people to the new group?

This seems like something that should be so simple. I'd hate to have to contact each one of those 20 people to say "i had to delete the group and remake it so you have to rejoin".

You can only transfer ownership between members of the organization, not from your personal account.

What you could do (I've not tried this myself) is join the organization from your personal account. Then you can transfer ownership. However, if you have personal items in your personal account, they will now fall under the control of the administrator of the organization. You could then remove your personal account from the organization, but you would lose any groups/items in your personal account because to remove a member, their account has to be empty.

Thanks,

Actually, moving it into the organization is probably not a good idea. The URL would change to the group, and would now be an organization URL...

Hmmm. Thanks for the suggestion Mike. I'm not too concerned about the data that's shared with the group (its easy enough to reupload), I'd just hate to have to create a new group and require everyone to rejoin. Right now the url of the group has my personal account tied to it. It would be great to be able to simply transfer the owner of a group from one account to another. Oh well. I guess its not too hard for people to rejoin.....
