This has happened to our organization three times in the last week and many times prior. This is getting really concerning!!!
I open up our apps and they open to other States or other organizations data.
Have you set it to open within a custom area in your app?
@Laura The issue is not the extent of the map. The issue is the data on the map that opens isn't even our organization's data. We have apps we have created from our data that are opening up to other organizations apps and data for some worrisome reason...

I'm sorry you're experiencing this. I haven't heard of this problem before and I cannot reproduce it. Are you sure that you are logged in to the correct account? Are you able to provide a link to one of the apps where the problem occurs? If so, I'd be happy to take a look.
Either way please contact Esri support for assistance in troubleshooting as they will be able to help determine if there is a bug causing this.
