I updated the max record count of a feature service on AGOL -  using this documentation: https://support.esri.com/en/technical-article/000012383).

Ever since doing this enabling/disabling edits settings are no longer fhonored when I adjust via the settings in AGOL . I discovered that a layer that should be locked down for editing has been open. Has anyone else noticed this behavior?

I am able to enable/disable editing via the ArcGIS Rest Service Administrator; however, I'd like to find a fix to get the settings in AGOL back "in-sync" with the REST service.

Hello Everyone -

Just and FYI -

I submitted this issue with support and ESRI has officially logged this as a bug: BUG-000144904 - "Disable Editing option is not honored after increasing the max record count for a hosted feature service in ArcGIS Online."

I look forward to it being resolved in a future release.
