Seeking a full dataset of the US electrical grid. HILFD bizarrely omits distribution lines.

You will need to contact each individual power company and sign a disclosure agreement

That much data would also be into the petabyte or even zettabytes in size

And what use would you possibly have for a full dataset all distribution lines in the US

It should also be noted that HILFD is breaking their own restriction that was put in place after 911 to now publicly show transmission lines over 60kv

Then it is not a full dateset as you asked about.  It is a picture

There is a huge difference.

Yes. Well either is fine as long as the picture is complete and legible as well as zip codes.
