Created a file GDB in 10.0 (so I can't share from Desktop). GDB has one point feature class with a handful of fields and domains. Tested on desktop and worked great. Uploaded to AGO, created a map, and my domains don't show up. What did I do wrong or what am I missing?
More testing results ArcMap 10.5 with a local FGDB published to AGO:
Converted the domain to text but the same result; the name (coded value description) reverts to the code:
Types:
ID: 1
Name: 1
Domains:
Field Name: type_of_poi
Inherited
Field Name: type_of_poi_string
Inherited
Templates:
Name: Classroom
Description:
Drawing Tool: esriFeatureEditToolPoint
Prototype:
Attributes:
type_of_poi_string: 1
I will adjust my code to pull the template name as a work around.
More fun:
When I download the data from AGO the domains are mainly there with the proper coded values: the short based domain shows up and the text based domain shows up but the long based domain is missing.
Next test: remove all long domains before publishing to AGO
