Is there a way to add driving direction functionality (similar to Google Maps) in a publicly shared web map application  without using credits? We don't have the network analysis route services in our ArcGIS Server, and would like to avoid using the Directions widget since it uses AGOL credits. Thanks

Could you essentially just add arrows to your line features in AGOL?

Sorry, maybe my question wasn't worded properly. Basically we'd like the public to be able to click on a location, and get driving directions on how to get to that location. Similar to Google Maps, just in an AGOL web map application.

Oh, I understand now. I am not sure that you can perform that task without consuming credits.
