Dashboards- using map data without having the map visible

Hi everyone, hoping someone here can help me out with this as I'm fairly new to esri services. 

I'm currently building an Experience Builder in AGOL. In this experience builder I'll be embedding a dashboard to show indicators using data from the main map. The thing is, I'm already featuring this map in the experience builder. It seems repetitive to display it again in the dashboard (just below the experience builder map). I'm wondering if there is a way for me to utilize the data from the map in dashboard (for the indicators) without having the map be visible in the dashboard?

Hey @EmmaHarris , absolutely! When setting up or changing the layer of one of your modules, click "Change."

The next page will have a "Browse all layers" option.

From there, it's possible to select any layer that's either yours or shared with you in AGO.
