I have a web map showing where Utility meters are located in my parish and would like to make this map accessible to the meter readers out in the field. My thought is this can be done via a web map in ArcGIS Online accessed through the Field Maps app. But am concerned about how many credits this will suck up everytime the web map is used. So how can I share access to this web map but limit the amount of credits used to my organization's ArcGIS Online account?
Solved! Go to Solution.
It won't use any credits for views. Even if a web map 'goes viral' and recieves a million hits/views - it won't 'charge' you for that usage. The only thing that credits are getting charged for is the 'storage' of the content.

All they want to use the map for is as a viewer so this is great to know!
One more question,
Does it matter if the webmap is accessed through an ipad or android tablet?
Nope! After the web map is shared - it can be accessed via any type of browser/device.

I made an Exb app for this use case! They access all the apps through a Hub site. Works great on a tablet.
