I'm trying to add a legend to an existing map (with multiple existing layers) within map viewer. I couldn't find how to do so by myself nor could I find a suitable tutorial for map viewer.

I'd greatly appreciate any pointers, thanks.

Greetings @geomatique_devvs,
Have you seen the article View a legend (Map Viewer)?

If you require more than the above, would you provide an example of what you are after?

Thank you in advance,

Thanks @MiguelParedes for answering. The link you provided indicates how to view a legend whereas I don't need to view one, I need to create one. When I click on legends, it simply says "no legend". How can I create a legend that'll show the viewed existing layers? Everything was done using Map Viewer.

Thank you,

Hi @geomatique_devvs

You can toggle to display layers in the legend inside of the Properties panel for the layer.

  1. Select the Layer
  2. Click to open Properties
  3. Toggle the switch next to 'Show in Map Legend'
