Change Click Zone Area on Map Service Point Layer

I published a Map Image Service which is dynamically updated from a registered feature service in portal. I shared the Map Image Service to my organization's ArcGIS Online through a distributed collaboration for sharing with the public. The Map Service updates dynamically when edits are made to the registered feature service and displays a read only version to the public, which is great for my purposes. However, I find it is difficult to interact with the point layer in Map Viewer. I used a drop pin symbology, but clicking on the top of the pin symbol does not bring up the pop up. There is a very small area at the base of the pin that is actually clickable, and it takes several attempts to click the right spot to get the pop up. Clicking below the pin and not actually on the pin symbol seems to work. When selected, this blue area is highlighted below the pin:

Is there a way to modify this behavior or change the size of the clickable zone for the point layer in a map service?

The REST for the service is: Projects/RES_Projects_and_Service_Areas (MapServer)

It is used in an Experience Builder app that is publicly available: Website Projects Map V2
