basemap automatically switches to bing

I'm using arcgis online to create a map and then embed that map in our website. I make the map and use the national geographic basemap option but when I copy the html code over it keeps defaulting it to bing imagery. Am I missing something? Any suggestions appreciated.

It seems the trick is that you need to save any changes you make to your map at arcgis.com before getting the html code. I thought it would update the html code as you modify it but it's not updated until you save your map.
