Hi all,

I've been trying to create an automated process where I publish a web layer using model builder (on a schedule). This layer is then edited by our team in the field and then accessed by our SQL servers to glean freshly taken photos with data. I have used the script from this blog post to run the overwrite upload process from model builder:

https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/mapping/publish-and-overwrite-web-layers-in-mod...

The only thing is that I need to set a parameter so that it will enable editor tracking on the web layer automatically. I don't know how to see what the parameters are on AGOL for a web layer. For example, in this script there is a section for "enableEditing" that lists "capabilities" that correspond to the "Add/Delete/Update" buttons on the settings for a feature layer. How do I find the parameter for the box for "Keep track of who edited and last updated features?"

Thanks as always, you are all so awesome!

Kevin

Hi everyone, I solved the problem! Thought I would note my solution here if anyone else needs it. Simply use the geoprocessing tool "enable editor tracking"  in the model builder model before publishing!

Hi @KBKnight
the source of the service layers is in your Enterprise Geodatabase?
if yes, then I would suggest checking this doco page: https://geoportal.esdm.go.id/monaresia/portalhelp/en/server/latest/publish-services/linux/editor-tra...

If no, I am not sure how to set that programmatically to be honest, interesting one.
