I am uploading a online map onto my groups website on sharepoint. When I open the map in AGOL, it opens up in the correct orientation I need; however, when uploaded to sharepoint, it orientates north. Is there anyway to prevent this from happening?
Hello @ItzelPretzel --
Thanks for posting your question on Esri Community. Would you be able to share some additional details? Are you noticing this issue with all webmaps or is it only noticed with certain webmaps? Would you be able to share the webmap (if possible)? Or would you be able to share a screen recording?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks & Regards,
Raaj
Yes, it seems to be all of our maps that are shared onto SharePoint only. When the online map is opened on AGOL, it opens in the correct orientation. Unfortunately, I cannot share the webmap or screen record. If you know of an alternative way to show an interactive map in a custom orientation and can be posted on sharepoint, that would be great!
Hello @ItzelPretzel --
Got it. You'd like to see the orientation and the extent persisted when you add the "web map" to the "ArcGIS" web part in the ArcGIS for SharePoint app, am I correct?
Thanks & Regards,
Raaj
Yes this is exactly what I would like to see 😊
