In Sharepoint for ArcGIS, I'm having trouble populating the attribute dropdown for varying symbology by attribute. When connecting to a sharepoint photo library with a prepopulated field for the direction of rotation, the atrribute dropdown in the map webpart does not recognize any sharepoint fields when the values are formatted as either a string or number. Should I use to use a different format for the sharepoint value? Is it possible to vary symbology rotation by a sharepoint field in ArcGIS for Sharepoint or should I go about this a different way?

Hello @JoJohn --

Thanks for posting your question on Esri Community.

I have a few questions:

1. By photo library, do you mean the SharePoint's native "picture library"?

2. How are you adding the photo library to the ArcGIS web part? Does the picture library have the longitude and latitude values as columns in the photo library or is the geometry stored in Esri JSON format?

If you are using the SharePoint's native "picture library", have you tried using the "Document library" instead?

Thanks & Regards,

Raaj
