Hi, I am a bit new to ArcGIS online.
Most stuff is pretty straightforward for an experienced GIS specialist but I have an issue that I can't seem to resolve...
I have created a point featureclass in a gdb, including domains, using ArcGIS Pro.
Shared this as a Web Layer and in ArcGIS online and I receive the message "arcgis online layer did not draw completely".
This would be explainable when the featureclass would contain a lot of points but there is only one point feature in the weblayer.
The layer shows up in a webscene and in the collector app but not in the map viewer.
What did I do wrong?

This is a part of the known issue. The issue itself is caused by a problem building the spatial index in the initial publishing. So even though points are added they are not indexed and don't show on the map.
To work around this you have to publish a new feature layer with at least two points.
The ArcGIS Online release has been delayed one day, so this issue should be fixed for new feature layers as of Thursday morning. Unfortunately it will not automatically fix existing feature layers, but we are also exposing a button to rebuild a spatial index which should fix this issue for existing feature layers.
This is a known issue that appears to be addressed in our upcoming update. Starting next Wednesday you should not see this problem anymore.
As a workaround publish the layer with at least two points.
I added some points using the Collector ap. These can be seen in the attribute table but the feature layer still does not show in a Map viewer.
Also, when I build a web app, the layer is showing untill I check on the "Display Editor" box. When this box is turned off, the layer shows perfectly...

Hi Katie,
Where will the 'rebuild a spatial index' button be? We are having a similar issue with a 1,500 point feature service.
thanks!
Same problem as Kevin. I have people collecting in the field and we can't verify. I am hesitant to roll out a new data set to work around this issue.
The rebuild indexes button can be found under the settings tab on the item details page.
Thank you! That made my day.
Is the rebuild spatial index button only for AGOL hosted services? I don't see this option for my webmap that uses our AGS hosted services?
Did you get an answer Venus? I don't see the button on my webmap that uses our AGS hosted services either. TIA
