Hello ArcGIS Online Team,
We're currently working with the ArcGIS Online Hosted Feature Layer webhook capability. When trying to pull attributes from the webhook, it appears that the attributes are buried within 3 API GET requests and not exposed directly. In contrast, when working with Survey123 webhooks, the attributes are right at the surface and easily grabbed.
Can someone explain this reasoning? Could this be an enhancement request for the AGOL webhook functionality? Or is there a more efficient way to get directly to Hosted Feature Layer attributes?
Thanks,
Amanda Huber

Hi Amanda,
Thanks for posting! Good news -- Web hook management is on the roadmap for ArcGIS Online feature layers! Not sure if it'll make it into our next update but keep an eye out down the line; it is coming.
Cheers,
Sarah

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for the quick response, that's great news! We look forward to that update 🙂
In the meantime, could you point us in the right direction (documentation or explanation) for any best practices pulling attributes from these Hosted Feature Layer webhooks? As I mentioned before, we're currently using three GET statements. It seems cumbersome and so far buggy. Any feedback would be appreciated!
Thank you,
Amanda Huber
Sarah,
Has the solution to this post made it out in an update yet? If so, could you update this post with an information link?
Thanks!
