Hi,
I'm managing a feature layer for data collection, and am wanting to have Arcade expressions automatically run and populate values in fields as new features are added to the data set. Right now I see the only option to re-run the calculations periodically. Is this really the case?
I know you can have an expression run in the pop up as features are added, but these don't appear as new fields on the attribute table so it doesn't fulfill the role I would like.
Thanks!

@JoeBorgione is correct, Attribute Rules are the way to go, but unfortunately only available for data stored in an Enterprise GDB or a File GDB. It will come to AGOL but I don't have an ETA at this point.
Two words: Attribute Rules...
Pretty sure they are not available in AGOL.

Thanks.
So if I apply attribute rules to the feature layer in ArcGIS Pro, can I export the layer as a web layer so that those rules carry over into AGOL, to be used in Field Maps for data collection?
Or do attribute rules just not function in AGOL at all at this point?

^^^^^ This....
They do now. We have used them
hi @PaulLong attribute rules now work on AGOL?
Does anyone know whether this is now included in AGOL? I would like to run an autocalculate field for some math functions as field crews enter data in field. This thread is over two years old, so I'm thinking that this functionality is now here?
