Hello everyone,

My colleague and I are trying to create a web app on AGOL using a layer we have imported into AGOL. We are collaborating and both of us need to have the ability to edit the web app to make changes to what data are displayed, as well as the settings for the functionality of the app. I've created a group within our organization and made my coworker a Group Manager, but they are still unable to edit the app we are working on.

How can I update the settings to allow both of us to make changes within this app? The only help I was able to find was from 2018, and does not seem to be relevant anymore.

Thank you!

Create a shared update group and use this to update items.

Apparently most apps do not support shared updates at this time, so make sure to check if the app itself is updatable through this group.

Hey Kat,

Agreed with what Christopher has put. We have seen a few cases where an application is edited by numerous users and saved at the same time which can occasionally lead to the application becoming corrupted.

Many thanks,

David
