Hello,

Since the last 2 or 3 weeks, when on Microsoft Edge, Mapviewer suddenly very slow loading the layers, the menu and its general utilisation.

I've got no problem when using an another browser like Chrome but our company officially rely on Edge so it can't be a permanent solution

I  cleared the cache and it is still going.

I did not see any other posts having the same issue so I'm wondering if our IT guys didn't change some parameters impacting but I'm trying my luck here before logging a ticket with ESRI.

Does anyone already had this kind of troubles ?

Thanks a lot and have a good day

I am not seeing a difference.

I have also not always had good luck with just clearing cache.

You might load the webmap in Edge, press the F12 button to enter developer mode, then right-click on the reload button and choose "Empty cache and hard refresh" and see if that makes a difference.

You can close developer mode once it starts reloading.

Edit:  To add, I am still on Windows 10

Are you guys on Windows 11? We are having issues with Win11 'efficiency mode' being applied to various processes including Edge. You can quickly tell by looking at Task Manager for the process and there will be a green leaf icon indicating efficiency mode is active.

Windows 11 has not offered any good tools to control this, we have had to try various hack-y methods to get it to stop.

Add me to the list of "AGOL sluggish using Edge". As for the empty cache, have that as a default to empty cache etc on closing browser. Conversely, have seen edge having memory errors.

Hello everyone and thanks for all the answers.

Sorry to answer that late but I found the culprit at least in my case.

I should have think about this earlier but I tried to load maps with Edge but within the InPrivate mode and surprise everything went fine. So it made me think it could be an extension or a cache problem..

After some tests I found the culprit and it was the "Dashlane" extension. So I'll have to deal with my IT guys to see if it is that mandatory.

Thanks again for all the reply, hopefully it will help or guide other people too !
