I thought this outcome would have been quite simple, but have not so far found a way to achieve.
I'm using a layer from the UK Ordnance Survey's "OS API" map service as available on this OS link, using the API key for which we've registered, and it works perfectly for our purposes. However, it contains only the standard "Powered by ESRI" attribution at this point, and I'll like to add a formal attribution for Ordnance Survey and our Licence Number (-see attached, as per our own standard built/published cache basemaps, where it is included at build-time via Desktop) on the same line as the standard.
However, I cannot find a way to achieve this in AGOL: I did think it might be possible via the Web Map "View details" item in AGOL, under "Credits/Attribution", and I have since added desired text there, and saved it, but it still doesn't appear on the map when viewed.
I have read that other users have resorted to building their own layers via, eg Markr (-now deprecated), and then adding as a separate layer, or that there might be ways via JSON-edit in AGO Assistant, although the latter seems to come with caveats RE not being fully-supported.
Has anybody achieved this via the map item itself within AGOL ?
