Hello;

It's great that ArcGIS  Online (and Living Atlas) have ACLED Conflict and Demonstrations Event Data and Key Indicators.  However, when I try to add the Feature layers to a new map, nothing appears.  The Time Slider shows up at the bottom of the map but it doesn't work. Also, the Event Data appears to only have data up to May 20th, 2024 and the Key Indicators only through April 19, 2024.  Today is June 16th, 2024.  When is the data updated and when (and how) do I make the data appear on a map?  The time slider is a handy feature but it needs to work as well. Thanks.

Jim

Hey Jim,

It looks like the data provider has a current pause on data and will resume later this month.

Regarding the timeslider updates in the map you will have to update those through web map authoring, manual web map JSON edits or programmatically. The time slider requires a min/max extent and currently doesnt support CURRENT_TIMESTAMP as a driver for the end time.

Okay, thanks @RussRoberts.  I'll try authoring a map and and see what happens.  Thanks for the help.

Hi Russ;

There doesn't appear to be any data updates on ESRI's end after April 30th.  Is that an ESRI issue or an ACLED issue?  The "data pause" message states that the data is up to date through May 24th.  Thanks.
