A common complaint I receive from many of my AGOL users is that the Smart Editor does not deselect on close. They say it is not intuitive and a pain (some are GIS'ers, but most are not). I know the classic editor does this, but we don't want to use the classic editor as it doesn't have the features we want.
I propose that a few new options are added to the smart editor widget.
- Drop changes and deselect on Close; or
- Save Changes and deselect on close
