As a regular user of ArcGIS Online and Experience Builder, I often work with spatial data in different coordinate reference systems – especially WGS84 (EPSG:4326) and national systems such as S-JTSK (EPSG:5514).
Currently, the coordinate system of a Web Map is implicitly set when the map is first created (based on the basemap or first operational layer). After that, there is no user-friendly way to view or change the map’s CRS, which causes multiple challenges:

Why this matters:
We have the same problem. So anoying that there is no easy way to just see the coordinate system of the webmap.
Hopefully this will be implemented soon.
I totally agree! This especially comes into play when using drone imagery that is collected in a local coordinate system and then published to Portal as an image layer. I believe there is a recent change to Enterprise 12.x where if you publish an imagery layer in say, State Plane and then want to add it to an existing map in Web Mercator, it gives you an error that it cannot be added to the map. Projections on maps and layers should be visible easily, preferably in the properties pane in map viewer.
