Hi everyone!

My team is looking to deploy Notebook Server in a new build that we are working on.  It will be on Enterprise 11.3, on a Linux server, and be built in Microsoft AVS.  Documentation gives the minimum hardware requirements and recommendations on # of cores and RAM per container.  We plan to automate our scheduled python scripts on the Notebook Server, instead of running them via Task Scheduler as we do now.  We know we could potentially have 4 or 5 scripts/Notebooks running concurrently.  And each Notebook will need the Advanced Runtime since we need access to arcpy.  If we assume we could use the max of 10 Notebooks/containers at once, with Advanced Runtimes, this would be 20 cores and 60GB RAM.  Add on the minimum of 4 cores and 16GB RAM just to run the server and this would be 24cores and 76GB RAM.  If we wanted higher specs for the Advanced Runtime, these numbers would be even higher.

I'm hoping to hear from others with Notebook server and what their specs are.  We don't want to underpower or overpower the server.  Are the above calculations "overkill" or not enough?  Does anyone have any suggestions on a "butter zone" of specs (cores, RAM, disk space) for a Notebook Server that would use all Advanced Runtimes?

Thanks for any recommendations!

NEW!!! - You would be doing me a huge favor by filling out our survey of YOUR ArcGIS Notebook Server specs!  Even if you don't have any recommendations, we'd greatly appreciate if you could fill out this survey with the specifications of your Notebook Server.
